Description
Solvitol Plastic Mould Release Sprays consist of three aerosol packed products,
all designed to give optimum release during injection, compression, blow and
lamination moulding processes.
Applications
Solvitol Plastic Mould Release Sprays each have different compositions that
impart different surface characteristics to the finished moulding.

The Products
Solvitol Silicone Plastic Mould Release Spray (SIL)
A clear fluid with excellent anti-stick properties, designed to improve the
surface finish of plastic and rubber-moulded parts. Working temperature of –50oC
to +300oC. Economical to use, long lasting, thus reducing the rate of
application.
Solvitol Non-Silicone Plastic Mould Release Spray (NSMR)
Light amber fluid that imparts an excellent anti-stick film designed to improve
the surface finish of plastic and rubber moulded parts where the parts require
gluing or welding after production. In addition, most effective where a high
surface finish is required e.g. telephones or decorative parts. Working
temperature of 0oC to +100oC.
Solvitol P.T.F.E. Plastic Mould Release Agent (PTFED)
Dry anti-stick film designed to eliminate transfer to component parts that
require overprinting, painting, plating, gluing or welding after production.
Working temperature up to +250oC.
Caution: - The film produced by this product is porous and therefore not
suitable for use with resin laminates.
